Listed Building LVT Installation
Commercial Flooring Group was appointed to deliver a high-quality luxury vinyl tile (LVT) installation within the entrance area of a prestigious listed building on Bayswater Road, London.
As the existing decorative tiled floor formed part of the building's historic fabric, it was essential that the original surface remained completely protected and undisturbed. To achieve this, we supplied and installed a Jumpax subfloor preparation system, creating a stable floating platform over the existing tiles without causing any damage to the original floor.
Once the subfloor was complete, our installers supplied and expertly fitted Amtico Luxury Vinyl Tile in a traditional herringbone pattern, carefully setting out the design to complement the character and proportions of the building. The finished installation provides the timeless appearance of natural wood while delivering the durability, ease of maintenance and long-term performance required for a busy commercial entrance.
The result is a premium finish that enhances the building's period features while ensuring the historic tiled floor beneath remains fully protected for the future.
